Welcome

Welcome to “30 Days of Gratitude.” We are excited to offer you a heartfelt gratitude exercise every day for the next 30 days. These exercises have been designed to open your heart to the miracle of gratitude and the amazing changes that can happen when we become more grateful. There is a new exercise every day. Some are for you alone, while others include friends or family members. Most exercises are designed to take about 5 minutes, but on some days it will take a little longer. We ask that you set aside 5 to 10 minutes of quiet time every morning when you can focus entirely on that day’s exercise. Some of the exercises will call you to spend a few moments quietly reflecting at the end of the day. This is a time to help you focus on the miracle of your life and encourage yourself to be thankful for the day. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Please share your experiences making comments on this blog or by E-mail at DaysofGratitude@gmail.com

We look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Hello all,

I want to share an interesting thing that has been happening to me. As we (Robin, Vanessa, and I) wrote and got this new little meditation book out, I began to actually do what we were writing about.

Be grateful. For Everything…Everything. So every morning I wake up and just start saying “Thank you” over and over. And I don’t especially try to target anything. I just say, “thank you”.

“Thank you” over and over, as soon as I wake up and before I get out of the bed. Immediately I feel better. I feel gratitude for my body, for breathing, for the sunshine, or the rain, for the bed.

What has been amazing is the relationships with my mother and my brother have leveled out. From a place of strain and unrest, the atmosphere has become much more accepting and loving with them.

And both of them are being calm and smiling more. And are more open. I swear, it is unreal…and I have only been doing it now for three weeks…. if they are in a bad mood, or they act unloving towards me, I just say to myself, “thank you for this person…here to teach me to be peaceful”.

The only thing that I can see that I am doing differently is thanking the universe all the time, and it has been amazing to see the almost instant changes. Try it! Thank you! Namaste.
